I'd be bold enough to say Japan in general. There are a handful, but most of the cool stuff is gone.

The Lancer Evolution is quite cool car but I think that its days are numbered and a successor hasn’t been planned.

For me the last really nice Mitsubishi (besides Lancer Evo) was the last rwd Galant (A160 made in 1980-83). I don’t dislike (fwd) FTO and GTO/3000GT/Stealth either but I don’t have much interest to own one.

I think the Japanese manufacturers went all in on efficiency. They really don’t make anything wantonly crazy. Except the GTR.
